Are you ready to embrace Wortley Road Dental? We would love to meet with you to discuss your oral health! In the meantime, we have listed a few common questions and answers we receive to help you get closer to achieving a beautiful smile of your own. If you have any other questions and want more information, or to book an appointment with us, please feel free to reach out to us via email or telephone.

  1.     Why do I need to see my dentist regularly?

It is important to visit the dentist at least twice a year to help keep your teeth healthy. Most of the time, you cannot control the development of bacteria in your mouth despite practicing good oral hygiene. Since you cannot always reach certain areas of your mouth, these teeth may be at a higher risk of developing cavities and gum inflammation.

  1.     Why is brushing not enough for good oral hygiene?

While your toothbrush is an essential part of your oral hygiene routine, it is not the only tool you need to ward off diseases. You may be able to remove food residue and signs of plaque, but there are areas you cannot reach (such as between your teeth and underneath the gums). Only your dentist has the capacity to help.

  1.     How can I prevent cavities?

In addition to brushing and flossing your teeth right after eating, observing a nutritious, low acidic diet and visiting your dentist for regular bi-annual checkups is important to help prevent cavities and other potential oral health issues.

  1.     How do I make an appointment at your dental clinic?

You may book an appointment with us directly at (226) 270-4044 or complete the booking option on our website by securely inputting your details. We will inform you via email once your appointment is confirmed.
